Mount Kimbie – Empty And Silent (Live in Heidelberg)

Mount Kimbie celebrates their album “The Sunset Violent” turning one with a live recording from Germany’s Metropolink Festival. Expertly captured by FOH engineer Ben Ellis, mixed by Dilip Harris, and mastered by Matt Colton, this release documents their sold-out 2024 tour. The band has evolved from electronic producers to a full four-piece outfit, with founding members Dominic Maker and Kai Campos creating music that balances instruments with electronic elements.

The Heidelberg show, described as “an unexpected highlight” with “incredible energy,” features 11 tracks that showcase their journey from post-dubstep origins to a more organic sound where live instruments now dominate over laptops.
